INSOLENCE To Host Show On Largest Foreign Music Station In Japan

July 27, 2007

San Jose, California's INSOLENCE will begin hosting a weekly radio show on the largest foreign music station in Tokyo, InterFM. This station, which reaches 37 million people, is also owned by one of the leading national network television stations, TV Tokyo. The show will be on air beginning on August 3.

The show, titled "Insolence: Audio War", will be hosted by INSOLENCE and feature interviews with band members, prank calls, and of course music by U.S. artists. This show promises to be crazy and funny while introducing the Japanese to the culture of California.

INSOLENCE defines itself as a "hip-hop-, reggae- and hardcore-influenced band that began in 1995, in the depths of the streets of San Jose, California." They have previously been signed with Maverick Records and have sold over 140,000 albums worldwide. They are using the radio program to promote their upcoming album, "Audio War", set to hit stores in Japan on August 8 through Powerslave Records. The U.S. release will follow this fall.

Any artist interested in participating in the weekly show should contact Powerslave Records by emailing [email protected] or by phone at 408-266-0300.
